Born and raised in the north of England, Jordan’s early exposure to dance music came from northern genres like drum ’n’ bass, donk, hardcore and bassline. They started DJing at university in Hull and then moved to London where they launched an ambient social event and label, and regularly attended queer DIY club nights. As a DJ, Jordan quickly became known for fusing hard and fast techno with clean, euphoric house. This energy saturated their early productions and continues to do so today. Jordan’s mission is to create moments of connection. They’ve performed at the world’s most respected clubs and festivals, supported Flume and Fred Again, and remixed Fred Again, Romy (The XX), Eliza Rose, Fever Ray and TSHA. They’ve graced the covers of Mixmag, NME, Disco Pogo and DJ Mag, and regularly feature in Resident Advisor and The Guardian, but their idea of success lies closer to home. It’s seeing queer folk making out in the front row of their shows, or meeting Trans kids around the world who say Jordan’s helped them in their own transition.
