OF IYRN are a London-based band rooted in the Black Country, an industrial heartland named after the minerals once mined beneath it: coal and [iyrn]. Formed in 2025, they create emotionally honest songs through live improvisation, blending indie, folk, and Tropicália influences with a warm, melancholic atmosphere. Their sound is influenced by “home”: a concept that transcends borders for the band as they bridge Brazilian music with English and move fluidly between languages and have been selected as BBC Introducing ‘Ones To Watch 2026’. Our sophomore single Nada Mais received support from BBC Introducing, Apple Music’s New in Alternative, Hard of Hearing, and the most radicalist magazines. Our debut single Peeling received support on BBC Introducing, as well as support from Apple Music’s New in Alternative playlist.

SPIRITED FOLLOWERS – are an experimental folk ensemble based in Cardiff, drawing on Appalachian folk, Indian classical, Greek, post-rock dynamics and avant-garde practices. We blend harmonium, Appalachian dulcimer, guitar, bouzouki, cello, synth and drums to make music that is at the same time rooted and exploratory. We foreground the characteristic textures and timbres of the cultures we draw from, asking how those musical grammars can be stretched without losing their integrity. Flowing between composed material and open, textural improvisation, their aim is to show how non-Western music can lead itself to experimentation.
