Performing Songs From The Golden Thread

da Googie and Cara Tivey come to Liverpool for a rare live performance of their experimental album The Golden Thread.

daGoogie is the solo project of Deb Googe ,bass player in My Bloody Valentine and Thurston Moore Group. daGoogie blends traditional basslines with more abstract noises and field recordings to make songs based around intricate, layered soundscapes.

Cara Tivey is a pianist and composer. During the 80’s and 90’s Cara worked as a session keyboardist, touring and recording with various bands, including Everything but the Girl, Billy Bragg and latterly Blur during their ‘Parklife’ era. She then taught music and Performing Arts at the Royal National College for the Blindin Hereford.

Grool blend industrial, alt rock, and trip-hop, and sound like queer body horror and taste like the name.
