The first official event as part of our 'Music for Change' initiative - our monthly series of fundraising concerts for different Liverpool-based charities and organisations - welcomes the post-punk and chanson française-infused, Liminal Project. Support from Industrial/Synth Pop two-piece God on My Right & Doomy shoegazers Aughra.
Liminal Project is a marriage between post-punk and chanson française influences. The music is bass line and drum machine driven, whilst chorus and reverb drenched guitars glide in-between the mysterious and emotionally evocative French vocals. Based in Liverpool but consisting of three members from across the globe, the band features Roxane Bigot from France, Michael Coates from Ireland and Zoe Nixon from Australia; who all come together to create a sound that is stylish, nostalgic and ethereal in nature.
